Zweites E-Mail nach der Flutwelle
Second Email after the flood
Dear Everyone,
I have had an overwhelming amount of people wishing to send us funds to help rebuild The Adventure Club or to actually come out here and help us put it back together, brick by brick (so to speak).
Although by nature, I am not one that accepts charity, as I feel there are many other people that need it far more than I, these are offers that I cannot overlook, as there is more than just The Adventure Club to consider, but all of the staff that we give jobs to and all the other people on the island that benefit from our business.
I also believe that there is another way that people can help if they wish and that is not necessarily to send funds to help rebuild The Adventure Club, but badly needed funds that will help rebuild the island and help the inhabitants that have lost everything.
However, if you are interested in sending money or help by creating some kind of fund raising, I ask you to wait a few of days until I have organized appropriate ways of depositing monies.
I am in the process of creating a NON PROFIT organization that will accept funds for people that wish to help the islanders and rebuilding the infrastructure of the island. This money will in no way be used by the Adventure Club for its own uses. On the other hand there will be a separate account if people wish to send monies to help rebuild the Adventure Club back to its former glory.
I will then put on my website 2 buttons that can be used to access the different account information in order to deposit to the correct destination.
Any monies received will be carefully monitored and accounted for and each donor will receive a complete list of all the services that the monies were used for.
I am trying to organize with other companies on the island that are creating similar funds so that we can work together in this endeavor.
There is still much to be accounted for and we haven’t yet even begun. I wish to thank you all again for you kind wishes and offers of donations.
Best Regards,
Andrew Hewett
